Focus: Design for start-ups

While in undergrad, I was lucky enough to get a placement at a startup based out of downtown Toronto. The startup was owned and operated by an electrical engineer, and I helped to explore possible opportunities the product and it's market could offer the business to grow and expand.
I helped with graphic design elements for signage, social media and web purposes. In addition to that I created mock-upweb layouts for the owner, and explored the value proposition and system the brand was interested in developing in.During my stay I also worked on a side project, where I conducted competitive research, stakeholder analysis, and business modelling. My main challenge was designing solutions while overcoming the technological and financial limitations that came with growing a young startup in Canada.
